Welcome to our first I2:ICIQ Impulsion research fellow Dr. Mariano Curti!
Mariano received his PhD from the National University of Mar del Plata (Argentina) in 2017, under the supervision of Dr. Cecilia Mendive. His dissertation was centered on the use of photonic structures as photocatalytic materials. After a short postdoctoral stage in the same group, he moved to the Leibniz University Hannover (Germany), to work in the group of Prof. Detlef Bahnemann on different aspects of heterogeneous photocatalysis. In April 2020 Mariano joined ICIQ as part of Dr. Romero’s group.
His interests outside the lab include reading, music, and sports.
